Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using EarnIt, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
EarnIt is a productivity app that helps you build better habits by requiring you to complete activities (like walking, arriving at locations, or waiting until certain times) before accessing selected apps on your device.
The app uses Apple's Screen Time API to temporarily block and unblock apps based on rules you configure.
Privacy, Analytics, and Advertising Measurement
Your use of EarnIt is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
EarnIt may use third-party SDKs and services (including Meta/Facebook App Events and RevenueCat) to:
- Measure app analytics and advertising performance
- Track conversion events such as registration and subscription
- Validate subscription status
Where required, we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before tracking for advertising purposes.
Subscription Terms
Pricing
- Monthly: $4.99/month
- Yearly: $29.99/year (best value)
Billing
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at purchase confirmation
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
Acceptable Use
You agree to use EarnIt only for its intended purpose of personal productivity improvement. You agree not to:
- Attempt to circumvent the app's blocking mechanisms
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code
- Use the app to restrict access for anyone other than yourself without their consent
Disclaimer of Warranties
EarnIt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
- App blocking will work in all circumstances
- The app will help you achieve any specific results
App blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time API, which may have limitations or may change in future iOS updates.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the app at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where the developer resides.
